Match Grade Machine's information before you order..
We've set up our shopping cart to allow you to build a custom barrel by choosing from a number of option menus. As you go through the process, you can refer to the description for links to
pictures. We've included a good list of things that you may want to see before you order such as muzzle brakes and fluting.
As time allows, we will try to have a picture of every option available so you can see it before you order it. If you are not sure of what options you would like to have on your barrel, please read our
FAQ. We have tried to make it as comprehensive as possible to clear up any questions you might have. If you are still uncertain after reading that information, please feel free to give us a call.
We will constantly be updating and adding new information to the
FAQ. Match Grade Machine (MGM) is a small shop and we have limited resources when it comes to technical support. So, as a favor to us, please check the
FAQ to see if we have answered your question before you call. The more time we spend on the phone the longer it takes us to finish your custom barrels.
Payment
We require a 100% payment to start a barrel. You can pay with a credit card, check, over the telephone (435-628-0071), or C.O.D. (cash or cashiers check).
Delivery Time
It's our goal to keep our production time to 4 weeks. When you order a new barrel expect 4 weeks to delivery unless you are informed otherwise. For special twist rates or special barrel blanks it will usually take longer because we have to order that in before we can start it.
Warrantee
We warrantee all our work. If you get a barrel that you believe is defective or has a problem with the machine work, we will take care of it. By "take care of it", I mean we will replace the barrel if it is necessary or we will simply fix the problem if that's what it needs.
Accuracy Guarantee
If all the machine work is done properly, accuracy should not be a problem. We don't have a guarantee on accuracy, because we can't control how people load and shoot their own firearms.
We have done an accuracy guarantee in past businesses and it never works like it should. An accuracy guarantee is supposed to protect a customer from the chance of getting a poorly built barrel. What we found out is that a lot of people were simply not loading or shooting properly. It is very costly to us to have to take a customers barrel back and test it for accuracy. It is especially frustrating when only 1 out of 300 barrels actually has a problem. The rest of them shot great when tested. The customer simply wasn't loading it properly. So, we end up having to teach our customers to load and shoot at considerable cost to us.
I realize that not having an accuracy guarantee will lose us some barrel sales. I believe, however, that the quality of the barrels we build will ultimately relieve any fears people may have.
The bottom line is: our barrels shoot great without exception. You can depend on that.
